"Parents have become so convinced that educators know what is best for their children that they forget that they themselves are really the experts." - Marion Wright Edelman
Why a Parent Coach?

All parents love their children and want to be good parents - but day-to-day it can be hard to love being a parent. To face parenting challenges with confidence and creativity, parents benefit from having a coach listen to their ideas, validate their struggles, and strategize with and support them in their efforts to do the best for their children.

Parent coaching is about increasing awareness and understanding about parenting challenges, and together developing effective parenting strategies tailored to address your specific parenting needs.

"Amy Brinn got us through the most confusing and difficult moments of parenting. She helped us figure out how to get our daughter to sleep through the night, how to part happily each morning at daycare, how to make meals pleasant, and a million other things that may seem simple but aren't. Amy gets kids, and she gets parents.
She does three things at once. She comes up with practical and do-able solutions to problems that seem insoluble, she gives clear advice about how to make your family work, and she makes everyone feel calmer and better about their own part in the family.
Amy helped us enjoy each other and our lives together, turning the anxieties of parenting into pleasures. She made a difference that never went away, and we're all better off for it, and happier." - Father, Somerville, MA
